Submitting your application and uploading your documents to GoGerman does not create a legally binding contract, nor does it mean you are fully registered in our system.
You are only officially registered once you meet all requirements, receive the official registration form from us, and pay the registration fee. The application form in Step 2 is used solely to place you on our waitlist, as we receive a very high volume of applications year-round.
STEP 1: REQUIREMENTS
Before applying, please ensure you meet the following basic requirements:

Age & Motivation: You are at least 18 years old and highly motivated to build a long-term career and future in Germany.

General Language Level: You hold a certified language level of at least B1 for all vocational training programs and professional positions.

Specialized Language Level: For vocational training in technical fields and nursing, a B2 certificate is strictly required.
🇮🇩 Special Rules for Applicants from Indonesia:
Your language certificate must be no more than one year old at the time of application. Validity is calculated from the date of the exam (not the issue date of the certificate).
If you took individual modules (Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening) on different dates, the validity depends on the date of the oldest module (which must not be older than one year).
Tip: If your certificate is close to expiring when you apply (only 1 to 2 months of validity remaining), please note in the final section of the questionnaire whether and when you plan to retake the exam or module.
STEP 2: APPLICATION PHASE
Meet all the requirements in Step 1? Then you're ready to take the next step:

Fill out our online application form.

Once submitted, your details will be added to our waitlist.

Note: At this stage, you are not yet an official GoGerman participant and carry no financial or legal obligations.
STEP: THE FIRST CONTACT
As soon as we find a potential match for you, we will invite you to an introductory interview:

Two-Way Matching: We make sure the employer and applicant are a great fit for each other. (For example, someone used to big-city life might not feel comfortable at a small, rural company.)

Language Check: The conversation also helps us assess your practical, real-world spoken German.
Our advice: A smooth, calm flow of conversation and clear pronunciation matter much more in the introductory interview than perfect grammar. If you're nervous, take a deep breath — we don't bite!
STEP 4: THE OFFICIAL REGISTRATION
If your initial interview goes well and we have a suitable position for you, we will invite you to officially join our program:

You will receive our registration form. Please read it carefully, complete it, sign it, and send it back to us.

Registration Costs: Depending on the program, professional recognition procedure, and additional services required, the fee ranges from approximately €1,000 to €1,600.

Flexible Payment Plans: You can choose between a one-time payment or convenient installment plans divided into two payments (the first installment right after registration, and the second installment one week after receiving your visa appointment).
STEP 5: JOB MATCHING & PLACEMENT
Now it's time to actively search for your future employer, provided we don't already have one lined up for you upon registration.

Please submit any missing documents immediately after registering (e.g., transcripts, certificates, translations, apostilles, etc.).

We will build your professional candidate profile and actively present you to selected employers.

Timeline: The placement process doesn't follow a rigid timeframe. It can take anywhere from a few weeks onward, depending heavily on the season, your language skills, work experience, age, and your specific job or vocational training goals.
STEP 6: ONLINE INTERVIEW WITH THE EMPLOYER
Once an employer shows interest in your profile, we'll set up your first meeting:

Preparation is everything: We conduct an intensive coaching session with you beforehand to walk through common questions and help take away any interview jitters.
🛠️ Tech Tips for a Successful Online Interview:

Always use headphones for both preparation and the interview, and test your device's audio quality in advance.

Make sure your face is well lit and sit in a quiet room completely free of background noise.

Have both a stable Wi-Fi connection and mobile data ready as a backup.

Take a deep breath — you've got this!

We will then coordinate the final date and time for your interview with the employer.
STEP 7: VISA & CONTRACTUAL FORMALITIES
Congratulations, you passed the interview! Now it's time to handle the paperwork:

You will receive your employment or vocational training contract. If anything is unclear or you have questions about the contract, we are happy to guide you through it in detail.

We negotiate with your new employer regarding your future accommodation in Germany.

We support you through the entire visa process and compile all necessary official documents.

Note: If you chose the installment plan in Step 4, the second half of the registration fee will be due once you receive your official visa appointment.
